As a Business Analyst You will partner with Project Managers and internal customers to identify evaluate and develop systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. You will be the liaison between the business and IT, translating business requirements into functions, design specifications and coordinate with in house and third party development, user acceptance testing and provide analysis of production variances to designed systems. What you’ll do Evaluate customer business needs; partnering with the business owners and working with Project Management. Identifies problems, proposes solutions, and documents impact of the proposed solution on TrueBlue business owners and shareholders. Translate business objectives into system requirements. Designs details of automated systems. Proposes business process changes where needed. Document the business requirements and acquires business owner approval. Document Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) for use by development staff. Coordinate with in-house and 3 rd party development groups on project scope, objectives, and value-added propositions. Liaise with customers during the project lifecycle. Participates in SCRUM development cycles as the voice of the customer. Manages UAT lifecycle with users and QA for design walkthroughs, UTD / UAT cycles, and coordination / resolution of defects and system changes. Assists with production issue root cause analysis and reproduction of system defects. Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Assists with development and testing of training materials. What you bring to the table Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred . Knowledge of the overall requirements generation process, requirements documentation, and requirements feasibility and reliability. Experience with process analysis tools and techniques. Business domain knowledge; ability to work with business on prioritization, ranking requirements and traceability of requirements. Experience with MS Project, MS Project Server, or related tools. Experience with ERP, CRM, Accounting / Payroll systems a plus. Experience with Appian Business Process Modeling Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
