As the Software Performance Test Lead You will provide technical leadership to the software quality testing and application development teams on performance testing automation tools, performance testing automation frameworks, and general performance test best practices. What you’ll do Design and implement a process for delivering performance automation within agile delivery teams, including performance acceptance criteria. Lead performance testing strategy, approach and best practices. Prepare performance test plans and test cases as assigned. Design and execute performance test suites and cases. Analyze requirement and functional specifications for performance implications and determine appropriate tests to validate impact to production upon release. Provide metrics upon execution of performance test suites to establish baselines and track performance improvements over time. Coach and provide technical leadership to others on the QA and Application Development teams. Drive a culture of performance and quality within all teams in the DevOps organization. Communicate performance software testing and automation best practices with team; including new and emerging technologies. Lead offshore testing resources. Proactively follow up on performance issues, and concerns as needed. Assist performance test analysts with duties as assigned. Provide feedback to all teams on performance processes. Interact with business partners on a regular basis to prioritize testing. What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years software performance testing experience. Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment. Experience with one or more performance testing frameworks and/or toolsets. Excellent skills in writing SQL queries for back-end data validation. Experience coordinating with offshore test teams.
